The Vineyard
2007 a unique opportunity offered Alexander Laible itself: He learned of a suitable estate in his home community Durbach, picturesquely situated at the entrance to Durbachtal. The decision for an own vineyard was made quickly and with several physical alterations the first wine was able to be stored in autumn 2007.To the property belongs also a historic mill, which is going to be restored lovingly and will be the framework for personal presentation of wines.
Alexander Laible sets great value upon an individual way of working at the vineyard in communion with nature. He ensures consistent and gentle refinement of the grapes at the wine vault. He makes wines that have mineral notes and are filigree and will make any wine lover feel the grapes inside the glass with abundant finesse.
Coming with his family's knowledge and the genes of a great Vintager, he goes his own way.
